Hebrews 1.1-9

Jesus Christ is the complete and ultimate revelation of God to which nothing can be added. He is superior to the law, the prophets and the angels. As God who came in flesh, He has a superior position and was given a greater name than them.
No one can know God outside of Christ for there is no other revelation beyond Him. You cannot have a perfect understanding of God except through Christ. The original plan of God for all that He created was to have them in close fellowship with Himself, but that plan was forfeited by the disobedience of Adam and Eve.
The result of this was that they lost their fellowship with God. This is what God sought to renew in Christ Jesus. The law and prophets were appointed by God and they carried out God’s purpose on earth, but the perfection of all is in Christ Jesus.
He who denies the Son denies the Father; and he who has the Son has the Father (1 John 2:22-23) and has eternal life. Since Christ is the heir of all things, we can become heirs with God only in Him.
