Police Car Hits Nigerian During Chase In Italy

Pandemonium broke out yesterday in Italy after a Nigerian immigrant was knocked down by a patrol car while being chased on the street in Ferrara area. 

It was gathered that after the 28-year-old Nigerian was hit by the patrol car, he was rushed to the hospital but by then, it had already been rumored that the immigrant had died.

According to reports, over 40 to 50 African migrants mostly Nigerians took to the streets to protest.

The protesters broke bottles and overturned dustbins on the streets during a face-off with the police while agitating over what happened to their colleague.

Despite the heavy security presence, the Nigerians continued their protest until they were later addressed that their colleague is alive and responding to treatment.
