Information reaching the PoliticsNGR newsdesk on Tuesday morning reveals that the National Assembly has been shut down by workers protesting over unpaid salaries.
The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, and some lawmakers who attempted to gain access into the two chambers were stopped by the angry workers.
For over five minutes, Ekweremadu, tried without success, to convince the protesting staff.
