Lagos Government Impounds 146 Motorcycles, Jails 21 Riders


The agents of the Lagos State Team today appropriated 146 cruisers and captured 21 riders at second Rainbow range along Mile 2, Lagos. 

The Executive of the Office SP Olayinka Egbeyemi revealed that the present authorization operations were done in view of arrangement of protests to his office by honest individuals from general society on criminal exercises executed by these cruiser riders/administrators around Mile 2, Orile-Iganmu and Coker Aguda Range. 


SP Egbeyemi uncovered further that exercises of these bike riders/administrators were on the expanded as they threatened blameless individuals from people in general both day and night by seizing them of their resources, for example, telephone, bits of gems and packs. 


SP Egbeyemi exhorted bike riders/administrators to appropriately screened out culprits among their participation and teach others to quit employing any of the confined 475 courses which incorporate roadways and extensions over the State.

(1) (d) of Lagos State Criminal Laws of 2011.
