During the afternoons, it is normal for the dogs to be locked up in their cages particularly because of the newer tenants in the house that are not so familiar with the older dogs.
However, they kept running around the car parked in the picture, barking and snarling. One would move quickly and stop, barking sharply, trying to reach under, but withdraw quickly, running once again. Not sure of the snake breed buy it had these yellow markings under its silvery-black underside.
All these were dismissed as their celebration of being let ou until the snake tried to escape through the other side of the car. Immediately, they were on it, biting withdrawing and stamping at random until the snake lay lifeless.
The humans were of course monitoring from a safe distance until the creature lay motionless; then the head was severed.
The dogs were checked for bite marks and watched for hours and showing no signs of poisoning, the vet was just called in for routine checks.
