Isaiah 61:1-4; 8-11
… the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. Isaiah 61:11, NIV
Outline
The spiritually-inclined and faith-propelled Christians would perceive that God is about to fulfil this prophecy in our time - to make righteousness and praise rule in all nations. The LORD will soon make known to all that He is the Governor among the nations (Psalm 22:28) and make people know that He, the Most High, rules in the kingdom of men (Daniel 4:17). Beloved, I strongly believe that there is hope for Nigeria and the Church. Like Jerusalem, God will restore our nation and make righteousness, peace and justice to reign in our land.
Though our political leaders and pastors who should speak the truth cannot because of the benefits they receive from government officials.
However, we must come to believe and stand by the word of God - that when all is said and done, the kingdom of God will be fully established in our dear nation. A glorious Nigeria (and her Church) will emerge. What must we do? Pray for Nigeria. Ask the Lord to visit our nation as He has promised, and cause righteousness and praise to rule in her.
