Vocal Nigerian music star, Davido who has been very outspoken about the 2019 general elections has reacted to the results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Davido who is a strong campaigner for the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar appears disappointed with the results announced so far.
Taking to social media, he wrote,
“We all tried, hopefully, one day, real change will come.”
With the current results putting the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) is currently in an early lead.
It would be recalled that Davido recently gave his take on politics in Nigeria. Davido took to his twitter to clarify multiple assumptions and also serve warnings to the youth regarding supposed plans of the government to lock up the youth and thus create a panic that will prevent them from coming out to vote.
