John Alechenu, Kano
The Kano State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Prof. Risqua Arabu, has announced that results from 5 out of the 44 local government areas are ready. 
He however said as soon as results from 10 local government areas are in the state Collation exercise will begin. 
Arabu made the announcement while breifing party agents, observers and the media at the state Collation Centre located at the INEC Office, in Kano on Sunday. 

He said, "We now have 5 local governments (whose results are) ready. Twenty more are close, the Collation Officer is on ground; he is in my office. 
"As soon as we have up to ten local governments we are good to go." End.

John Alechenu, Kano 
The Kano State Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission has said it is still waiting for the official results from it's Electoral Officers from most of the 44 local government offices before Collation. 
Director of Voter Education and Publicity of the Kano State Office of INEC, Garba Mohammed, said this in an interview with our correspondent, in Kano on Sunday.
He explained that the commission was ready and waiting for a reasonable number of the collated results from the local government areas to arrive before the commencement of Collation for the state. 
Mohammed said, "We are waiting for the collated results from the local government to come in before we begin. 
" We have started receiving some, we want a reasonable number to come in first."

Akala loses unit to Atiku
David Olorunsogo, Ogbomosho
The former governor of Oyo State and governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party, Alao Akala, lost his polling unit, Unit 13, Ward 10, Ogbomoso North to the Peoples Democratic Party but recorded victory for his party in the senatorial and House of Representatives elections.

PDP led the Presidential election at the unit with 189 votes; ADP 60 votes; APC 33 votes.

In the senatorial election, ADP led with 222 votes while PDP and APC had 46 votes and 37 votes respectively.

ADP amassed a total of 230 votes, PDP polled 39 votes while APC scored 38 votes in the House of Representative election.

Adelabu wins polling units for Buhari, Ajimobi
The governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Oyo state, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu, on Saturday delivered his polling unit for all the APC candidates including President Muhammadu Buhari, Abiola Ajimobi and Mr. Deji Aboderin.

In Adelabu's polling unit, located at Adelabu compound, Oke Oluokun in Ibadan South East local government area of the state, results of the elections in Unit 10, Ward 9 indicated that APC had 60 while PDP had 36 votes in the presidential election.

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress at polling units 025 and 025A located at the Mogadishu Barracks, Abuja.

Atiku polled 375 and 58 votes at units 025 and 025A respectively while Buhari garnered 345 votes at unit 025 and 42 at unit 025A.

Oshiomhole delivers polling unit to Buhari
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has delivered his polling unit to the presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari. 

At Oshiomhole's Ward 10, Unit 1, at Iyamho, Etsako West LGA, Buhari polled 775 votes while the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, had no vote.

Election did not hold in Abonema, Rivers State --INEC
INEC's Head of Voter Education, Mr. Edwin Enabor, on Saturday said presidential and National Assembly elections were not held in Abonema, Rivers State.

Enabor disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Port Harcourt while reacting to the alleged postponement of presidential and National Assembly elections in Abonema. He said, "How can we say election is postponed in an area where election did not hold?
”We are making contact with various security agencies on ground to know when the areas are safe for our staff and voters to conduct the election.
”We will issue a statement when we confirm that,” he said.

Atiku beats Buhari inside Aso Rock

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in one of the two polling units located inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
There are two polling units in the seat power.

For PU 022 Atiku polled 525 against Buhari's 465.
For the senatorial election, PDP won with 546 votes against APC's 477.

For the House of Representatives, PDP won with 521 votes against APC's 466.

There are still results of three voting points pending in the second polling unit, PU 021.

AAC's Sowore wins own polling unit
Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, won his polling unit in the 2019 rescheduled presidential election.
Sowore, who voted at the RCM Primary School, Apoi Ward II, Unit 005 in Kiribo, Ese-Odo LGA of Ondo State, polled 208 votes.
APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari gathered 82 votes, and PDP's Atiku got 11 votes.

APC loses Senate poll in Buhari's polling unit
Though President Muhammadu Buhari won his polling unit in the presidential election, he failed to deliver his PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, in Daura, Katsina for the senatorial candidate.

Buhari polled scored 523 against PDP's Atiku Abubakar's three votes.

APC candidate for Katsina North senatorial district, Kaita Baba-Ahmad who is seeking reelction, lost the unit to the candidate of Accord Party, Lawal Nalado.

Nalado polled 263, while Kaita got 248 votes.

PDP's Usman Mani polled two votes.

Buhari wins PDP enclave in Gombe
Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress Muhammadu Buhari won the presidential election in the polling unit of Gombe State Gov. Ibrahim Dankwambo.

Danlwambo is of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Buahri polled 453 votes, while PDP's Atiku abubakar won 80 votes.

Dankwambo, who is contesting in the senatorial poll on PDP platform, won his own polling unit 005 Hassan Manzo in Harwagana Ward Gombe LGA.

Large voter turnout, peaceful conduct in Benue

The presidential and National Assembly elections in Benue, State, on Saturday, witnessed large turnout of voters and was adjudged to be generally peaceful, as there was no report of violence in any part of the state as of the time of filing this report.
Though there were some electoral hitches, some prominent politicians commended voters for their enthusiasm and peaceful conduct.

The politicians include a former Benue State Governor, Senator George Akume; the incumbent governor, Mr. Samuel Ortom, and the state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Emmanuel Jime.
However, there were incidences of malfunctioning smart card
readers, late commencement of accreditation and voting as well as the arrest of suspected electoral offenders.
