Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the 2018 Player Of The Year at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai on Thursday.
MySportDab reports the 33-year-old beats France's Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezzman to the award for the fifth time.
He said: "What better way to start the new year. Thanks for the appreciation and the care that I have received today."
Other award winners were Best Coach of the Year Didier Deschamps and Brazilian legend Ronaldo, who received a Player Career Award.
