No less than 44,000 organizations have been delisted from the database of the Corporate Issues Commission (CAC).
The commission has additionally enlisted more than 1.5 million organizations.
Recorder General of the CAC, Bello Mahmud, said this in a talk with the Monetary Private in Abuja.
He said the advancement was continuation of a few ruptures of the Organizations and United Issues Act (CAMA) and other surviving controls of the commission, quite, late and out and out refusal to document returns.
"So far there is a change and a present proportion of 45 for each penny. We are as yet keeping an eye on organization records, particularly as far as consistence for the individuals who have not been documenting.
"In the event that we find you are not a going concern, the law building up us gives us the ability to delist from our database.
"In the event that we find and keep in touch with you to start with, second and third letter without answer, we now consider it that you are not a going concern and we delist you from our database.
"Up until this point, the primary bunch we delisted were around nine thousand (9000) And in the second clump around thirty-five (35,000) totalling 44,000 firms delisted from our database is as yet continuous", he said.
