Isaiah 49:1-7
“… I will also... bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6, NIV
While Jesus was commissioning the disciples after His resurrection, He stated clearly that they should take the Gospel to “all nations” (Matt. 28:19). No one is excluded from the Father’s salvation plan. Prophet Isaiah in this passage reiterates the divine agenda to save all peoples. The salvation plan of God is not limited by race, age, gender or status. God in Christ reconciled the whole world to Himself. For the whole world to hear about this good news, every believer must be ready to take up the responsibility of telling others.
Isaiah was the plan of God to deliver His message to us today and the disciples were Christ’s plan to take the message to “all the nations.” We also are in the Master’s plan to bear the message to all the nooks and crannies of the world. If indeed the good news of Christ has done something good for us, then we should be willing to tell others. There are still millions of unreached people groups in the world. Will you be willing to work towards their salvation?
