Ephesians 4:7-13
Outline
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7, KJV
Genuine salvation through faith in Jesus Christ gives ready access into Gods work. Once you are saved, you are saved to serve God. As part of our salvation benefits, the Lord gives different gifts to each believer for them to effectively participate in the work of ministry, in the Church, no one has any excuse not to serve and bring increase into the kingdom of God because each one has been divinely gifted.
It is very erroneous for anybody to think that he or she has been saved just for his or her own benefit alone. While it is true that salvation gives one the assurance of peace of heart and hope of eternity with God, it is also meant for the profit of the Kingdom of God. This is made possible when those who are saved engage in intentional evangelism and soul winning using their gifts. As a Christian, you can show God that you value the sacrifice of Jesus by maximizing His gifts in your life for the work of the ministry. Note that the more you use His gifts, the better it becomes in your life and the more effective you will be in the work of God.
