Super Eagles’ manager, Gernot Rohr, has replaced injured defender Leon Balogun with Uche Agbo for next month’s 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Zambia’s Chipolopolo in Ndola.
FSV Mainz of Germany defender, who featured in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo earlier this month, was named in Nigeria’s 23-man roster for the match in Zambia before copping an injury.
The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that Granada of Spain’s Agbo has already been contacted by Rohr and his invitation letter sent to him. He will join the other players who are expected to start arriving in Abuja on Sunday.
