Movie director gushes about film school legacy




The filmmaker, who has been opportune to work on international movie projects, revealed that his Mainframe Film and Media Institute, is the highlight of his career.

Nigerian movie director, Tunde Kelani, has expressed satisfaction over his accomplishment, having discovered a film training school called Mainframe Film and Media Institute (MFMI).

Kelani, in a statement mentioned that the film school has been his most notable success. According to him, the institution will help to groom people who are interested in building a career in the movie industry.
He said, “I call this my career highlight. There is so much experience I have garnered over the years and I have decided to give back.”
“This is why I decided to found a training institute, where those who want to seek knowledge in film-making and media can learn theoretically and practically”.
It looks like the movie director’s legacy is already making a big impact.


One of the attendee at the school, Bamidele Adetayo, toldPunch’s Sunday Scoop, that his experience at the institute has motivated him to want to fully invest in movie production.
‘‘The training I received has prepared me. The short film project we are working on has further strengthened my resolve to excel. I am ready to explore the world of motion pictures,” he said.
Tunde Kelani is a veteran film maker. His film production company, Mainframe and Television Production, has produced quite a number of top movies.
Some of these are Ti Oluwa Ni Le (1993), Saworoide (1999) and Campus Queen (2004).
